Hello, first of all, I would like to apolagize if I'm posting on the wrong place.

A year ago, I bought a Wii 4.0E, following your guides I was able to softmod it to 4.1E (hbc, trucha, config usb-loader) everything works fine.
Today I tryed (first time) to connect to the Wii Shop Channel to get the Internet browser to surf the Web on it, and I get a message saying " there is a updated version of the Shop Channel, in order to continue, you need to do a System Update".

My questions, is safe to do the update?

After that update, will I need to re-softmod my wii?

The only thing I want from the Shop Channel is the Internet browser.

Thanks in advance.

P.S.- I'm still a newbie so please be gentle.

The link I posted! And it's a way to update the shop channel! I post it again:
1.Download the latest NUS Downloader HERE.
2.Extract it and start the NUS Downloader.exe, select Extras - Retrieve Common Key (key.bin) and select Pack -> WAD.
3. Type 0001000248414241 in the top-left box and let the v box free, Start NUS Download, after this type 0000000100000038 in the top-left box again and remove everything in the version box and Start NUS Download. After this you will have two folders with the wads inside.
4. Move the two wads to your sd card or hdd.
5. Use Wad Manager v1.7 to install them.

Ok, inside my SD card I already have a folder called wad that was created when I softmoded the wii, should I move the 2 new folders created with NUS to inside that wad folder, should I put those 2 folders in the root of the SD card or create a new Wad Manager folder?

simply move the files without folders into the wad folder and install them.

But all the files or just the: IOS56-64-v5662.wad and the Shopping Channel-NUS-v20.wad files?
Oh, yes, only IOS56-64-v5662.wad and Shopping Channel-NUS-v20.wad, the other files are not important

That's not important which file you are installing first.
