Apologies for the lack of recent news and updates.

We have been hard at work on our new Cyclops iEvolution device for DSi and DSi LL/XL consoles (DS/DSL also supported). The product boasts all of the features of the original plus a few new features which are certain to appeal to many users. The product should ship in the second week of December, just in time for Christmas! More news and photo’s coming very soon…..

In the meantime we are also working on a new software release for the regular Cyclo Evolution to enhance compatibility for newer titles. We will post further news closer to the release date, announcing what improvements have been made. Thanks to all our loyal customers for their ongoing support!

A bit late but still...

Pfff, if I were them I would stop spending money on the DSi.
It's at the end of it's life, with the 3DS comming, and come on, a better flashcart then the DSTWO? Don't think so.
Especially if they are gonna charge a great amount of money for it like the original CycloDS.

I agree with Wabsta...though I think cash wouldn't be a problem for them

But at least we know they ARE alive and (hopefully) ready for 3DS hacking.

no wonder they can't pay their bills, stupid decisions like this
they should have done this years ago.
a waste of resource and money to do it now...they should concentrate on the 3DS

It's good to know they're not dead...
Couldn't care less about an ievolution personally but as long as we get an update in the near future i'll be happy!

They'll never be able to sell a new cart if it's $45. If they make something with a GBA SNES emu that works well I think they could sell a lot of cards though. I hope they give suprercard a run for their money.

I agree with you. I have a CycloDS, which I usually use. I also have a DSTWO. If this new iEvolution can compete with the DSTWO, I will buy it too.

If they have taken THAT much time to do something as simple as a DSi flashcart (it doesn't seem that difficult, seeing all those new cheap cards that pop up every now and then), I wouldn't expect them to be the first ones to hack the 3DS (or even to do some breakthru, for that matter)

And even if the new flashcart sports a Co-Processor like the DSTWO, it's still a bit too late to put one on the market, especially if they put it out at the usual Team Cyclops prices.

Why did it take them this long to make a DSi cart?
I hope this card can live up the all mighty power house of the Supercard Two and does more than the Supercard Two, otherwise I doubt anyone wants to buy a new flllashcard this late.
Most of those wonderful supercard features work like crap. I think a DStwo like card that worked it would sell.

As far as this goes, Cyclops now?! Whatever. Anyways, the flashcard company has been slow with updates, which to me is no excuse. Then you have that stupid GUI which to me is like smartphone with all those bloatware features.

No it doesn't. The RTS in the Supercard is near perfect. Realtime cheat works pretty good, to tell you the truth the whole In-Game menu is good. GBA emulator isn't horrible its actually pretty good too.

My guesses so far, in order of probability...
  • In-game music player.
  • A web browser that doesn't suck that bad, built into the firmware.
  • Infrared. Only three games use it (HG/SS, and an athletic title with a pedometer), but it's something no other flash cart does. Also it'll let you use your DS to quickly change your TV off of the porn when people walk in!
  • Very basic SWF (flash) player. My guess is they'll only be compatible up to flash 7 of course.

the dstwo is superior to the cycloDS in every way
all the special features (with the exception of the emulators) is the best in any flash cart
and name a DSI cart with a better working GBA emulator..

adding dsi compatibility will not change a damn thing

I wonder, do you even own a Supercard Two or are you just upset you don't have one?
At least it has the features it promises, sure they need a little work, but hey the SNES emulator is a hell of a lot better than any other snes emulator for the DS.

I have a supercard and a Wiz and the gba on the supercard is shit. It's too slow and has annoying frame skip. The snes is horrible. I can't even use it. The PDF sucks at reading pdf. If they were smart they'd have just done an epub reader. If you've used a device that can do SNES and GBA EMU at full speed you'd be aware of how far the supercard falls short in those categories. They did get ffree cheat, RTS, and game compatibility right so I think it's still the best all around card but I do wish they'd concentrate on getting things right rather than have a ton of features that work like shit. Now if TC could do all that, make it all work right and come in at a reasonable price I'd be the first one to buy.

Gotta agree with you. Supercard promises a lot, but most 'special' features are badly worked out, and mostly 'borrowed' source code. All regular flashcard stuff works good though.
