Hacking Update CFW after a long time, need some help

Hello,

I havent updated luma (on my old 3DS) for almost 3 years, as far as I gathered information, there has been some changes, so I'm not sure how I should update everything.

I am currently on Luma 6.1.2, FBI 2.4.2 and Hourglass9 v.1.20 and the firmware of the System is 11.1.0-34E

Is there a guide to update everything thats currently recommended, that I can follow, I'm really unsure how to go on, hope you guys can guide me the way.

Upgrade to B9S and then update your FW. Pretty much all you need to update.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. I am almost in the same boat as you.

I haven't touched my 3ds in years too, and I do not remember exactly what I have done to mine.
I have homebrew running from Boot. I have rxtools 2.6, FBI 1.4.17, Pasta CFW loader. Also I believe that I have 2 fws, the original being 9.2.0-20E (shows up when I press R in a cold boot) and RX-E 4.3.0-10E (when I boot from homebrew/rx tools).
At time I only did that to play USA games in my EUR 3ds.

What is the safe way from here?

You ditch the rxtools and use luma from now on.
