Unused Code in Super Mario Bros. 3 (GBA) ?

    And just wanted to ask about the opinions of the people here. Is this unused code from the SMB2 GBA version?

    Unfortunately I dont know how to make AR codes, I can give you the memory address so you can play around with it a bit. In my rom (I have the (U) version) its located at 03003F95.

    In 2 or 3 places in the game SMB2-style grass pulling/vegetable throwing were added in that weren't in the original SMB3. The glitching occurs because the game isn't expecting those sprites to be in other levels.

    Those are either leftovers from SMB2, or else it's because the eCard code isn't completely scanned in. There were some eReader cards that enabled the SMB2-styled veggies in the game.
