I find that I have to unlock the console (using empty pin#) to change the settings whenever I use USB Loader GX r899.
Is there a way to permanently unlock it so that the next time I use it I do not need to unlock it again
to change the config setings?

Any form of assistance is appreciated. Thanks.

just delete your config file from your hard drive or sd card.

Then once you start the loader up change all your settings back to how you want them but do not touch the pin#

I've removed the files from the config directory in the SD Card & restarted the USB Loader GX.
But it still required me to do the unlock console before I could modify the settings.

Did you install an all-in-one channel, or are you using a forwarder or loading directly from the Homebrew Channel?

If it's an all-in-one channel it might have the setting hardcoded. Just a guess. But like said before, deleting the config file should reset everything to default.

I'm using the all-in-one channel (full channel install), not forwarder.
I didn't have this problem when I was using USB Loader GX r815.

No, I don't think so, cause I just need a blank entry to do the unlocking

There is your answer!
Just revert to r815, upgrade to a new one, or install a proper forwarder channel and install it to your HBC (that is really the best option)
