He isn't crying at all. He is dancing in money all day long.
He will just fall upwards anyway.
Honestly, this was more of a rug pull than anything else. He literally got away with tanking their stocks and the worst he got is stepping down with all of the moneys he made doing so.
yep the bastard 100% planned this so he could steal the loot and run while unity sinks

Executives are always the most useless SOBs at any given gaming company. They only ever have bad ideas to contribute, assuming they contribute anything at all.
Not a bad start, now fire the entire management structure that enabled him and went along with the licencing policy. No? Only him?

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.+1

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.+1

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
