Is this possible? I wish to sell my n3ds
Do you have the firm partitions from before the a9lh install?

I'm gonna assume you don't, so I'm gonna suggest selling it with A9LH and just say you can get free games with it. Should probably sell for more than normal.
Unknowingly sells to cop lol
Why not just remove the Themehax and let it boot into the Official system like normal. The buyer wouldn't be the wiser
I thought just updating ur sysnand would remove the hack anyways?
He's using A9LH. A9LH is VERY different from MenuHax
I see thank you for the explanation, I will excuse myself now.
Well, you can create an Emunand, update it to 11.0 and then downgrade it back to 9.2 and flash it back to Sysnand. I think that should work.
Mh... Remove Luma3DS, or disable the "sysnand firm0 firm1 writing" and update from sysnand! This might work.
Doesn't that brick?
I don't know, it shouldn't. Maybe i'm wrong
Why not just sell it as it is? You be doing the other person a favor anyway, unless it's someone who is proper anti-piracy minded
Or just reflash the sysnand original and format the emunand if you used one.
If messing with FIRMs without FIRM protection can remove A9LH, you can use CakesFW to disable these patches and install some version of NATIVE_FIRM, or update the system (say goodbye to your hax if you do this).
except if you do that with th older versions its blocked
Because updating Nfirm on N3DS will brick console
Basically on N3DS updating console to remove A9LH will brick it
on O3DS it will ither Brick or remove A9LH
We have to have dumped the part of FIRM that A9LH replaces, right? What if we just used that, decrypt it with the dumpers OTP, re-encryopt it with the N3DS's OTP and inject that?
Can't you just restore your band without the "keep a9lh" option?
If your backup already has a9lh it won't remove it.
An old emunand from before he had a9lh should work though, if he has any of those around still.
