Honestly, it's one of the best games I've ever played, I didn't get to beat it but I got pretty far. The story feels as it's connected to you. Very emotional IMO.

It's a good game in the part that it's...
- inspired by the amazing EarthBound series
- it's furry paradise
- in all seriousness, it's got some great characters. I'm a huge fan of almost all of them, except a few for other reasons (Sans is wayyyy too overrated) and even then, I don't hate them.
- it has a neat battle mechanic

averts plenty of normal RPG gameplay features, eg level-based gameplay and grinding for EXP

it's completely different if you try to kill every monster in the game, or spare every single monster in the game

- I probably forgot a bunch of other stuff, but I just LOVE this game.

Don't look at any spoilers; don't assume this game is GOAT (heh heh). Your best bet is to just jump in with no expectations, though it may be a bit late to do so. Imo the game alone is worth it for the soundtrack, TobyFox did a great job on that. I enjoyed Undertale, but you're not really playing for the gameplay, it's all for the characters and story.

I liked it. Not too impressed by the story but the underlying lore is very interesting. The gameplay is unique and the humor is excellent.
The music is probably the best thing about the game. IIRC the author is a musician.
