Price is nice but it'd be nicer if it came in some sort of holder. The dock is nice because of just that - it docks the Switch when it's not being used as a handheld.

Pretty sure the Switch only renders at 1080p when it's in the dock.

It will probably stay at 720p because it doesn't detect the adapter as a dock.
I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure all the dock does is tell the Switch it can render in 1080p and doesn't add any power.

Switch doesn't exceed 100% of its performance, no, but it only runs at 40% performance in 720p handheld mode (though this can be tweaked by devs). Running at a higher resolution requires more power.

Here's my translation of the thread. Please bear in mind that the functionality of this adaptor is unconfirmed.

Just arrived, tested and working, supports charging but don't know how stable this is.
Build quality isn't perfect but it's very compact. Wanted the black model but they didn't have it in stock.

Update: Supports the XPS13! Saves me bringing another adaptor when heading out.

Looks pretty decent, and it supports 1080p output. Can it replace the dock?

Build quality really doesn't look anything above ordinary, I ordered the black one the day before yesterday but it still hasn't arrived yet. Hope it's reliable.

Feels alright, but the official dock isn't too bad anyway, right?

Managed to get a space grey one right before they ran out. Seller said they'd ship tomorrow, hope that's true.

It was originally designed to work with the Samsung Galaxy S8, but was discovered to work with the Switch too.

Portability is excellent, much more convenient to take anywhere; just find any flat surface, and it perfectly addresses the heat dissipation issue too.

Additionally, the CF001 also has a version that supports the Switch, so you'll no longer be restricted to carrying around that big box and can place the console anywhere.

The linked article:
Just 10 days after the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8, the accessories have already been "hacked". Consumer electronics brand C-Force has released a docking accessory called the CF001 that supports the Samsung S8 Dex technology. But why do we add quotes to the word "hacked"? Our reporters have confirmed through C-Force engineers that the Samsung Dex technology isn't exactly anything new, but in fact it's the same as the MacBook and Lumia 950 - it works through standard DisplayPort Alt Mode. So why can't standard docks available on the market, or even Apple's official dock technology work with Dex? The reason is this: Samsung uses non-standard unstructured vdm to verify the hardware and will only enter Dex mode once the dock has been verified. Otherwise it just mirrors the device screen without entering the PC mode. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Dock uses the same technique, which is why C-Force was able to "hack" it just the same.

Found this image on the product page, it has one USB type C plug, three USB type C ports (one supporting power input), one HDMI port that can output 4K with supported devices, and two USB 3.1 type A ports.

was only a matter of time.
They found out the proto call for the cross talk between the switch and the dock.
Someone will get one of these open it up and do the same and we will end up with even cheaper ones.
