Hacking Unbrick Wii?

Hi,

My friend followed this guide when his Wii was 4.2:

His Wii got bricked @ downgrade part (ofcourse)
I tried SaveMii with NSMB Wii with 4.2 update, not working.
Also tried 2 Autoboot disks, but these probably aren't working because there's no modchip in it.

Hope anyone can help me out on this.

Unless you fancey buying an Infectus and opening your Wii, then no.

And yeah the wrong step was this.

Downgrade to 3.2 using cIOS Downgrader even if you are already on 3.2 run this

4.2 wii's downgrading to 3.2 will brick because of
1) Stubs
2) Boot2v4

NEVER downgrade to 3.2

You might have a SLIGHT chance of saving it with SaveMiiFrii when games with 4.3 on them will start to ship.

But until then, there's nothing you can do.
