Hacking un-softmodding and updating to 4.2

is there still a possibility that my wii will brick if i
1: remove ios' greater than 200
2:remove dvdx and homebrew channel

note some of my ios are patched is that a problem??
dont ask why im updating, its basically cause i want to start over again, and also because of this
