I've been playing online since release.... And before I was playing the leak with my wi-fi off. Nothing has happened. It's fine. Stop worrying.
I had to make a quick check.
Just being proactive.
Thanks!

O O F !
Before i do that.

The version of leaked Moon is 0.0.0
Pokemon Y is 0.1.0
Pokemon Alpha Saph is 0.1.0
Pokemon Moon is 0.1.0

Something is wrong.

this will sound dumb, but how do you check the version?
Via FBI. And geez, guys, stop with the paranoia already, the game's out so there aren't any real risks of being banned unless you cheat online or Nintendo does another banwave on CFW users, but even that is a hit or miss. We don't need a bajillion thread asking the same question.

I have played my leaked ultra moon online the 17th it has worked out really good no banns i even link traded all my mystery gift pokemon over to ultra moon but what sucks is that it will not let me trade my marshadow z move at all and i'm still kinda upset about it but i have gotten over it.

I played online since the leak got out, since I'm using a public seed there's no risk (As if there would be a ban, I would surely be banned whatever I do). Since no ban happened and the game is officially out it should be pretty safe. At least with online-related blanket bans.

You'll probably be banned in a week or so. They aren't instant.
If they are anything like Sun/Moon, then yes, they are instant.

Mm, no. It took a few days, and happened just after release. Also, injecting an unbanned seed won't unban 022-2812, which is what came with the SuMo bans, and will probably come with this too. I wouldn't be saying "there's no risk".

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
