First of all, I apologize if these questions have simple answers to them. I tried using the Ask section, but the button to ask a question does not show up for me at all for some reason. Additionally, I haven't been able to find an explicit answer for my question. These questions are about the Ultimate VC Injectors by Asdolo.

1) I used the VC Injector for SNES to convert my ROM of Earthbound into a CIA file. I did not alter this ROM at all, except to change its extension from smc to sfc, as smc does not seem to be supported by the injector. I used every default setting after loading it into the Injector. Specifically, I left it as a LoROM, and its size as 24 Mbits. A message I got in yellow was "Game not found in database. However, the ROM seems to be supported." After that, I loaded whatever images I got from google as the banners, and I left the Product Code and Title ID alone completely. After I made the cia file, I transferred it to my N3DS's SD card and installed it. However, when I go to start it, my N3DS's screens turn completely black, and then nothing, not even the VC itself, loads, even after waiting for a minute. I can't even press the home button. All I can do is turn my 3DS off. Is this normal, and I have to wait for a while, or did I mess something up in the settings while initially converting the ROM?

2) I used VC Injector for GBA on Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Emerald. Like my longwinded paragraph above, I left everything up to the injector to decide (Rom size as 16MB, and Flash save type with RTC unchecked, Product Code unaltered). However, in the case for both of these games, the virtual console actually loads and "functions," but I'm stuck looking at a blank white screen. Nothing happens even after waiting for a minute. Again, is this normal, or do I need to mess around with the settings?

I apologize for the longwinded questions, but I'm honestly baffled about how to approach this and I wanted to be as thorough as possible. I've barely started using these. I managed to get Golden Sun and The Sims Bustin' Out working on my 3DS while using whatever settings the GBA Injector gave me, as well as Mother 1 with the NES Injector, but the three above games don't seem to work for some reason. Even Mother 3 with the translation patch works with the default settings. I looked into save data types as well as what LoROMS and HiRoms are, but I didn't find any simple answers to my questions. Any help I can get is appreciated. Thank you.

The Pokemon Games should work with an sram patch. I don´t know if flash patching with or without the Run time clock is supported.

Thanks. I actually had just patched them right before I read your post. I decided to just use an emulator for EarthBound.
