3.0B is out:

New cIOS installer inside (all IOS38 based)... please use:

cIOS202 -> 38+60
cIOS222 -> 38
cIOS223 -> 38+37

Done.

Will the 3 cIOSes installed previously from 2.8D using IOS36 as base be overwritten by the latest installer with ios38? Or do I have to use ATD to delete them first? I still find 2.8D the most stable since games like SSBB works fine with 222 and deadly creatures also works without a disc needed.

Knowing that ios249 rev14 which is created with ios38 breaks D9 playability. Will this also affect the 2 games in anyway?

Afaik, when you install say 222 v4 over the previous v2, it just completely overwrites the previous installation (just like Waninkoko's cIOS) and there is no need to use ATD to delete them. And no, even tho it uses IOS38 as the base, v4 of Hermes does not have the D9 issues that rev14 has.

Just install over the top. If you're worried, just leave 222 as v3 36 merged with 37 and install 223 as v4 38 merged with 37. Then you have the old one and the new one installed and can try each one out until you decide which you prefer.

It works with them. IOS249 rev13 was based on IOS38 too and it was OK with dual layer.

Thanks, but so far it's not stated what advantages hermes v4 has over v3. Guess I'll stick to v3 first for the time being...

In v3 that is IOS36 based, EHCI had random read/write errors and can even hang up the device.

IOS38 don't do it, here is the reason that v4 is IOS38 based...

202 -> 38+60

IOS60 has native SDHC support and other features. Many homebrew that load with 202 use this IOS60's extra features. (ex: MediaPlayer)

Thanks for the info!

Hi, now I modded uLoader again:

http://www.mediafire.com/?ogimmjwgmwm

please note that you need to install the new cIOS (included in original release)

Watht´s new is this modded version?

New icons and OGG music backround support

You can load an alternative OGG from "SD:\apps\uloader\music.ogg"

Alt dol loading fixed

I hope this will run in the newest Wiis as well as original Hermes' uLoaderr

Enjoy it!

UPDATE:Fatal ERROR... I linked vers 3.0A... now the link is correct (3.0B)

Hello to all

Hola josete2k
hey I will like to ask if it's possible for a copy of Your version of uloader but with the skull in it?
I think that the skull is really cool !!!
Thanks
Rem

Vorbis support...very nice mod

This is not a bad loader at all. I use this and USB Loader CFG on a daily basis. Nice also to see alt.dol from disc (iso) support as well. I just wish the game menu moved a *little* bit faster, but otherwise the loader is a no-nonsense loader that just works. Good job Hermes and josete2k!

Cool! Thanks for the channel...works great. Forgive my ignorance, but what does the new patched libfat provide?

Umm...vorbis support does not work for me...

I have literally hundreds of OGG encoded files, and I tried quite a few. None work. I am renaming the ogg to "music.ogg" and placing it here:

sd:/apps/uloader/music.ogg

As it says in the readme. But, I get absolutely no music (even the integrated music is off). Any idea?

ive just tried the mod, internal music works but its not the mario one thats in the source folder

have you tried the original 3.0b for the custom music?

The original version accepts only .mods, and those absolutely work. I tried a few Amiga mods I had laying around and they work perfectly. Also, not only the vorbis support is not working in th emodded version, but the volume control does not work either (left and right on d-pad)
