Gaming UK Sapphire with US Diamond

Is it possible to transfer pokemon from one to the other then, if they are from different regions? Is it possible to get red/blue and gold/silver pokemon onto the DS games?

I'm not positive, but I HEARD that it's region locked (i.e. US D/P to US R/S, etc.) but you might as well try it when you get the Pal Park. As for your other question, you CAN get them. For R/B Pokémon you transfer them from LG/FR but I'm not sure on G/S Pokémon.
