no its a live cd for a pc where the enviroment is installed to make wii applications

And the reason that we dont see Linux on Wii is........................................?
 
well its actually not so hard ... its just coding for linux but then for ppc platforms and thats more difficult than for a regular (x86, x64) linux so no i dont think
 
I think this is useless.

You could download a torrent from Ubuntu's website, finish it in 5 minutes then install devkitPro yourself using http://ratm.net63.net/devkitPPC.sh

And you can't store anything on a Live CD (any changes you make are stored in RAM and deleted) so using it live would be useless unless you were to use it only for compiling, in which case you're better off installing a Linux emulator on Windows.

its actually good for me for all the reasons you say as i can try linux without installing aswell as the dev enviroment if i like it i will stick with it
