Ubisoft Opens a New Studio in the Philippines

The day before Ubisoft announced they are opening a new studio in the Philippines, a friend sent out invites about a Press Conference at Shangrila Hotel, I was going to go but since I lived in Sta Rosa, it was a bit far and I was lazy. Little did I know that the Press Conference was about Ubisoft opening a new gaming studio right exactly in the city that I live in. Would have been nice to hear the news within earshot.

And they are hiring!
They also partnered with one of the major schools in the country, De La Salle University, to provide 2 new courses in gaming development with which courses will start in the next school year.

It's really quite nice, they also have it away from Metro Manila. This couls be a start of gaming companies opening up in here. I also heard Square Enix announced they would be opening a studio here.

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
