Far Cry 3 was fun... to an extent.
It followed typical open world game syndrome to me. You start, conquer a bit of a learning curve (just learning what you need to survive, where you need to go, stuff like that), start doing shit, but eventually you get the best armor, best weapons, and best skills and everything is a cake walk. The story for Far Cry 3 was pretty standout, but eventually that lost steam too. It was a good game, a fun game, a gorgeous game, but eventually it was boring.
Also the skill tree was a joke, eventually you get so much experience that you spec in everything. There's no specialization in skills like Deus Ex.
Still, I'd welcome a Far Cry 4. Woohoo.
