So, a few weeks ago my PS5 decided to just die on my while playing a video game.
I've posted originally on Reddit asking for help, but going to cross post here because I am a bit lost at identifying the problem or approaching it.
Initially I had no clue what I was doing until someone told me to read out the UART codes.
So I got a tool for this, hooked up the PS5 and did that:

I didn't copy everything, but the last 2 severe ones are what is happening to my PS5, Single beep, 1 second blue light off.
So logical me identified these two as what needs to be fixed.
I tried searching the bord and I found the location of the Infineon XDPE14286A and got a spare for that one.
What I can't find is the Mosfet 6414A that is being mentioned.
I took pictures (attached).

Can someone help me identify the Mosfet and figure out what I need to replace that one?

Note that there were huge component shortages when Sony was manufacturing the PS5s so they might have well used another component as a replacement.
Looking at the form factor of the 6414A, it is the same as the components in your first picture.
Other posts mention that they are below the "Sony Interactive Entertainment" label.

The components are sold on Aliexpress.
Maybe getting them from a local seller might be much faster.
No clue why it sometimes takes Ali 5 days and sometimes it takes 5 weeks.

Thank you, really appreciate the feedback and helping me identify the area for the components.
My only question is, are both of those ICs the same mosfet, or which one specifically needs to be replaced?
That's the only thing I can't really figure out.

Sourcing the MOSFET should be easy enough for me, got a few electronics store nearby that source components.
Post automatically merged:

never mind my question, I understand the numbers now on the IC...derp moment sorry.
I've ordered a small batch of mosfets and will try to replace the mentioned mosfet when they arrive.

Don't want to touch the PWC yet and see if replacing the mosfet alone will be sufficient to make the error codes disappear.
