i dont think anybody answered me before so, what does the force r/w option do?

Ahh yes, the question I had back since v4.3 when it was first introduced. And to this day I have never found the answer.

What do any of the options do, I don't see the point of not using Safe Mode.

Flashme users with G6 lite i guess thats it for us.. i tried pretty much everything with Pokémon Diamond still white screens..

Did you try what Opium did?

Doesn't work using any settings on G6 Lite for me. I use flashme so perhaps there's an incompatibility there. Works on M3 with Flashme though so it's a G6 software problem.

Time to wait for an update.

I finally managed to get the game to work on my G6 Lite. I loaded it up with Safe Mode, no trim.

What I did was play another game then soft reset back to the menu and select Diamond from the touchscreen and it booted up correctly. Where as before when I just selected Diamond from the off it only gave me white screens. Very weird.

What do any of the options do, I don't see the point of not using Safe Mode.

One point is that DoFAT makes the game load faster than in Safe Mode.

To my knowledge their boot speed can be translated as:
DoFAT = x4
Safe Mode = x1

With DoFAT the 128 MB games - e.g. Final Fantasy 3 - loads in a jiffy.

Diamond works correctly for me now. Dofat, trim, soft reset. Clubhouse games needs safe mode though

another update they'll have to release I guess.

All better than what I got after update, passcard v3 starts up and then green flash and crash.

Downgrade the loader to 4.4

naturally I did downgrade to 4.4 loader, but it's a shame I won't be able to use the newest loader... :/ well hopefully the next one works. At least the g6flash is easy to set up again
