Earlier today, Team-Xecuter released finally their much needed update to their SX Installer app, now with their v3.0.0 release it integrates 'cheats' into it, and also adds support for compressed NSP's, called NSZ that have recently hit the underground channels, read on for vast list of changes they made in this release, and as usual you can find the download on their SX Portal website! :)
  • Improved boot time.
  • Reduced memory usage.
  • Ability to enable / disable cheats.
  • General UI performance improvements.

PLEASE NOTE: After extensive internal testing of this update, TX reports there is still an small issue when scanning your connected USBHDD for files/games contents. And they will addressed this bug in a future update, and are looking forward to your valuable feedback on any other oversights they may had missed during their testing.

My SX Installer (3.0) has stopped showing anything in File Browser when I click usbhdd:/

It worked before. Now I can't see my USB external HD or my USB type C thumb stick contents. Tried re-formatting from exFAT to FAT32, same issue - just shows in SX Installer File Browser as if there's nothing there. Tried creating sxos and sxos/xci folders, etc; no luck

That is unfortunately normal:

I am a bit disappointed that the fix takes that long...

Well its not something that can be discussed here in the way of links. -- But out there in vast world of the internet, there is things called gdrive's and places like HBG, they are all switching over to NSZ, as the games take up alot less space, so they means overall, less time you will spend pirating the things you should had been buying from your game store or the real eShop.

Its a real shame, because now the illegal eShop's are better, faster, quicker than the legit Nintendo one, maybe Nintendo will 'steal' the idea of NSZ and use it on their shop and save people a ton of bandwidth and time in installing their legit digital downloads. :)
Depends, does the compression effect the game in any way?

try adding the PATH to usbhdd options. ( e.g. put files in 'XCI' folder on root of usbhdd, modify your usbhdd entry and under path add, 'XCI'. the files within should now be shown)

this is a bug with tinfoil-dz v5+ in general.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

With this installer there is the option to install nsp from the pc, but there is a way to install xci games? Because my collection is all made of xci even The Witcher 3 with it's huge space.

if you are talking about SX server/ nut server, i haven't done it lately, but for locations/protocol use 'nutfs' rather than 'nut' for network install .xci

Chests did show up. Now a blank screen But cheats I selected BEFORE DISAPPEARED are still active in the cheats section to enable on sxos.

It is really wierd

Nothing shows up at all anymore.

The ones you've previously selected are dumped to a text file on your micro SD or hard drive, that's why you can still use them. It sounds like the app has bugged on you.

So if i go onto SX OS and I do an upgrade this will be installed? Sorry, I'm new to the scene.

no, it's a separate program to download from the same site as the SX OS upgrade. Just download and copy to your SD card, also grab the homebrew.nro and stick it on the root of your SD Card and that should be all good to go then.
