So you know those kinds of captchas that ask you to put in two words? Well, as it turns out, you only need to put in one word of the captcha rather than two.

I found this out while I was filling one of them in and pressed enter on accident, when I meant to push space. It accepted it as though I had put in two words, oddly enough.

So, just putting that out there. Enjoy a lesser failure rate, no matter how tiny that may be! =D

Interesting. So much time wasted by typing second words.

IIRC, the second word in a reCAPTCHA is used to help digitize books. The word on the right isn't able to be read by machines so they're relying on the user to state what the word is.

You might as well fill in the second word.

Nice find. :3 Sometimes being able to read 1 word but not the other, thus having to reload the captcha, annoys the crap outta me. >:

The verification word won't have capital letters, punctuation or numbers.

    Still it is rather useful

    Wow, nice find!

So many times when I've encountered Captcha, one of the two words will be completely random and illegible...

Please don't fuck with the system, guys. While 12 year old dickheads on 4chan may have fun pissing on literature, I'm going to have to ask that you all be UNlazy enough to type in the second word, for crying out loud.

So essentially, reCAPTCHA is working to defeat itself.

You're going to have to explain your thoughts on that one.

Yeah, I've known about that for a while. There's also a certain amount of letters you can misspell or omit from the word you do need to type in.
