You first, don't be so impatient. These people have lives you know, people are still at work over here.

Personally I'd rather wait for a mod to update the portal then have the "Recent Post" sectioned cluttered with "user" updates that will mirror a mods update... it happens all the time. ShoutBox would be a better avenue IMO for non mods to inform members that games are out.

Wasn't there a post on the 'front page' about playing nicely with each other?

Thank you for posting the new games. This might have went over better if you did not do it in a passive aggresive way.

We will soon allow members to post releases themselves!
However they won't appear anywhere (portal/release list) until a member of the staff decides to validate them.
We're currently working on this. You'll finally be able to update the releases as fast as you want [IMG]

Well I guess people read you wrong. When I read your comment "Sometimes i wish i could upload news to GBAtemp's front page..." I thought you where taking a dig at the gbatemp staff for being slow [IMG] theres nothing wrong with posting some releases to let everyone know [IMG]

phew, do u really realize what is this all about?!
nothing will happen even if u see a released game (in this case, two unimportant ones) even 2 days later. no thi ng will ha p p en.

if the game is a hit, like zalda, it will be mentioned even by ur cat and u dont need EXACT time releaase of it.

people! get out of it a little. its just some games. oK?

Yeah, honestly this did just seem like some sort of "look maek meh a mod" scheme to me.
Heres a hint: Bribing the admins with hentai works wai better than psuedo-release announcements. Of course "they" have yet to create my hentai forum... but "they" say it will be up soon... ;D (MIRITELAWL?!)

But yeah, the member update thing sounds great, there have been many times I wished I could update the releases myself!
