ROM Hack TWL_Tool

So for some reason, I'm not sure if it isn't supported at all because I'm sure there's something dodgy about my Pokemon Platinum cart, but I can't backup the save for it using TWL_Tool v1.1. Is there any other homebrew I can use to backup my save? Is it supposed to be failing me? I read the only game it doesn't work with is PMD: Explorers Of Sky so I'm not sure what's going on. The error says: "Unsupported Savetype, it is possible the game doesn't save any data."

Yes xD There's a save with 30 hours into it I wanna back up so my brother can play it and have his own save but it's refusing to back it up >.<

I hope you mean TWLSaveTool and not that tool for the DSi.

Sure it's not a bootleg or your saves' corrupted?

I do think it's a bootleg tbh xD It just says "Unsupported Save data file. The game may not store save data." in red text whenever I load TWLSaveTool.

Did you check if everything looks OK? The cartridge boots, the save reads and writes ok, etc.
Mine's perfectly fine.

The cartridge itself is completely fine, I play it regularly. xD Saves perfectly and everything. Just won't backup on TWLSaveTool.

Just here to say that this was actually fixed just last week according to the Github page.

You might want to try building the latest version off Github with Microsoft Visual Studio, your issue may have been fixed, but if you suspect you may have been sold a bootleg, it might a good idea to just grab any old save file off the internet and use a save editor to copy all your Pokémon over.
