Hardware TV Output problems.

When outputing over component cables the XMB renders just fine but games are all like the picture above. Help?

Old thread, idk if you even care anymore
Most CRT TV's don't support 480p... which is what the PSP is feeding it. Known problem with the PSP-2000, games are forced to 480p only.

So allow me to hijack with a very related question. Can the PSP-3000 output 480i over Component in games?
EDIT: Just got a 3000, the System Menu has an option for Progressive/Interlaced over Component so I assume so.
