I am currently trying to get the main.dol file from One Piece Unlimited Adventure iso...
and there are 2 partitions... and both contains a main.dol file...
And I was wondering wich partition I am to extract the main.dol file from?
RESLAB partition or RIPEAF partition ......

It's always the second one to extract the main.dol file from.

I want to make it english text for my jpn wii.
will just delete jp text in message folder do it?

ok, here goes another (probably n00bie) question:
i'm trying to make Pinball.Hall.of.Fame.The.Williams.Collection.USA > PAL mode

1. i followed the Trucha guide here until step 8
2. then extraced main.dol (and used Wii video mode changer according to guide that supposedly work)
3. then inserted changed main.dol again
4. signed it
5. exited trucha

6. burned modiefied iso with imgburn
7. tried to play

no luck so now my question is:

is the Trucha guide 1-8 all that's really needed if you have the correct key.bin (i have according to the MD5 checksum) or should i have searched keys etc with the other tools mentioned in this guide?

Tried IOS21-64-v514.wad from about 5 games now, can't find an ISO with a different version.

I have the exact same problem, so I assume it's also to do with my key.bin. I have the key as a string of numbers and letters, I didn't download it as a file. So i'm thinking that I have created it incorrectly. I basically just pasted the string into notepad and changed the extension to .bin. Probably a newb mistake but I guess I was hoping it would be that easy.

Can anyone tell me, or point me in the direction of, the correct method for setting up this key.bin?

For anyone else later on looking at this forum in the same situation. Remember to convert the hex to a string before saving it as a bin file in notepad. *Smacks head, looks for dunce cap smiley*

All you need is the first key. The others aren't required to sign a partition and at this point aren't needed.

To be honest, if you can't find the key and correctly get trucha up and running using the first page of this thread then you shouldn't be modifying ISOs in the first place.

Ugh, I cannot find key.bin to save my life. Is there a specific newsgroup I can look in? Simply searching in Google certainly hasn't given me much results...
