There are some areas that expect you to do this. In other games you can't progress without doing so. I can understand if this was your first Metroid game how you could not notice that because of the spider ball ability, but yea, its not a "trick." You can also time the bombs right to gain infinite height. Same with the other games too.

Mods tell me if I'm wrong, I don't know if I can upload my own YT videos here.
Basically, I discovered that when in you're in you're ball form and you put a bomb under yourself, it gives you an upward boost, and this can be used in many ways
I'll leave the video here with the example, hope you'll make a better use of it :)

This isn't a trick, consecutive wall jumps with just one wall, that is a trick, I don't know if it can be done in this metroid though.

Aaaaand again, aggresivity everywhere :D If it's the first Metroid game he plays, even if he's 60y/o that would not make more sense for him since that technique isn't explained in the game. And since you can achieve sequence breaking by using that infinite jump, I think it's clearly not a feature. Actually it got blocked in Metroid Fusion for that exact reason.

Let's rename that thread " Unknown obvious gameplay tricks". Who knows, that could help beginners...

In "Super Mario Maker" I noticed that if you press down on some of those "big green hose" thingy you get to some kinda secrets zone of the game. Don't know how to spot the special ones though.
Didn't try it on older Mario games. Might not be working for all of them. Someone should try.

:P

Geez man, I still don't get why you guys have to be so angry with these things sometimes.
It's obvious that some users (like me and OP) haven't played Metroid that much as you guys do, but come on, give us a break!
"I'm a hardcore Metroid fan and this thread enfuriates me because you n00bs didn't know this" well OK for you but there's no need to be so angry about it right?
I'm a Smash fan and if someone who never played Melee discovers the wavedash technique I wouldn't be like "DUUHH It's A gameplay mechanic you n00b, EVERYONE KNOWS IT"
I would be more like "Yeah, you can do that"

Ok shot a little quick there... But everyone wants to be captain obvious.

I'm afraid i'm gonna point at the obvious again but ":P" was made to mark the none agressive/comic aspect of my sarcasms.
It was too soon I guess. Sorry.

Peace and hugs in the world.

>Infinite bomb jump isn't a feature

>Re-added in Samus Returns
>Not a feature
