Mods tell me if I'm wrong, I don't know if I can upload my own YT videos here.
Basically, I discovered that when in you're in you're ball form and you put a bomb under yourself, it gives you an upward boost, and this can be used in many ways
I'll leave the video here with the example, hope you'll make a better use of it :)

It's called Bomb Jump.
By this time, it's more of an easter egg rather than a "trick", mostly because it has been featured in almost all Metroid games since the very first NES one.
I used it a bunch to sequence break earlier in the game the same day it came out lol.

Btw, I noticed that it is infinitely easier to pull of in Samus Returns compared to like Zero Mission or Fusion, huge step up to get to places before you get the Space Jump.

That's cool, I didn't knew it ahaha
I'll try it in Super Metroid hehe

I found bomb jumping a lot easier in Zero Mission than this game, but that's just me.
Well if you time it right yeah, it's easy.
I didn't mean to say it's hard, it's just that in Samus Returns you can pull it off almost without effort, even by mistake at times.
You can even pull it off by spamming the bomb, that tells you just how easy it is in this game compared to others.

You can't just spam, I tried
Almost everytime, you just get pushed down by the bomb owo
