Ok so I went onto the TTDSI website and on the downloads section there was a firmware update that could apparently allow my TT to play on 3ds.
So ofcourse I installed it. It was an .nds file and whilst it was installin it froze and wouldn't change for ages, riskingly I switched off the power hoping that nothing would happen.

However once I inserted it back into the ds the card wouldn't show up, I even tried it on a DS1 but still no luck. Following that I browsed the sd card to see if that's causing anything and to my surprise the hidden file (i'm on a mac) were all gone then somehow about 30 seconds later all of my other files were gone too.

I attemped a fake ttdsi card recovery (even though my card is real) and that did nothing too.

So all I want to know is if anyone can somehow help me out or should I just go get another card and if so what card is recommended. I was looking at acekards and those seemed good but I can't find anywhere that sells those in my area so the next best thing would be good too.

Thanks a lot everyone

You can get the R4iTT or R4iTT2 card these are always being updated and suport R4 software, DSTT software and Their own software(R4iTT software) (And maby wood I don't have tested it yet)
When the the 1.4.3 came out the R4iTT-Team update it on the same day just like with the 3DS, DSi 1.4.2, DSi 1.4.1 .etc
The best of the 2 is the (Black Cartridge) R4iTT2

The hell are you doing?!? Recommending an R4 clone is the most idiotic thing you could do. R4 clones are pieces of shit. End of story.
To OP: I would recommend you get a good flashcard like the Acekard2i. If you want to get any good flashcard, you'll have to buy online. Locals who sell flashcards usually sell overpriced cheap clones that don't work properly.

Because you switched it off during the update you have bricked your card. I would recommend you get an AceKard 2i they are the best inexpensive cards you can buy.

I too recommend you get a better flash cart like the Acekard or DSTWO or a WOOD compatible R4i GOLD from r4ids.cn

In my experience, AceKard is a piece of crap. It has contact issues.

Buy the R4i Gold Wood compatible (as suggested above) instead. I have never experienced a problem with the R4i Gold Wood card.

if they are wood compatible, they come from Acekard itself!

Acekard.com made some R4, since a long time ago!

i never had an issue with a DSTTi, so, about quality DSTTi is on top!
and with the GREAT work from RGF, DSTT/DSTTi stay on the race !
