Hacking Trucha Signed Discs vs. New System Update

Has anyone here confirmed that Trucha signed discs will still work after updating if they are launched using gecko region free from the homebrew channel? I've heard many people mention that they believe this to be true, but I haven't heard of anyone actually trying it out. Not many people have actually updated so I've heard a lot of hearsay, but that's about all. If you've successfully (or unsuccessfully) tried it out, please let us all know about it. Thanks!

yes, it works because Gekko Free, which could be considered as a custom disc channel (like the one in your wii system menu), use another IOS version that doesn't have the trucha bug patched...

Freeloader uses the trucha signing exploit. First hand proof.

I think people just stopped using the search function, but yeah after watching my friend try it, the trucha signed stuff did work. I don't own a wii, so I saw it at my friends.
