Hacking Trouble with the mail hack exploit

I have a ps vita slim running 3.51 I'm trying to run the mail hack and the attachment is there but when I first open the email it hangs with a "please wait" bubble until I close the mail app and reopen it then I can click the attachment and I do get the error message but when I hit home close mail
And reopen mail it just loads into my mailbox so I'm assuming the exploit is failing

What are you using the mail exploit for, you haven't said?

To open up as many possibilities as possible but can't seem to get mail hack to work as an entry point
