Hey, everyone. I own an official copy of Super Mario Sunshine for the GameCube, however, my CD is cracked and doesn't work anymore. My cousin stepped on it accidently a while back. I burned the ISO image -> 1.35 GB (1,459,978,240 bytes)
I burned it onto a DVD-R(not a mini-DVD)
I have Starfall 1.0 installed and I'm using the Preloader .27. I can play all of my backups well.
I have around 16 games burned onto DVD-Rs. I can play them through the disk channel. I ejected Spider-Man 3 and put in Super Mario Sunshine. It shows the gamecube picture on the disk channel. When I try to play the game from the disk channel, my Wii turns black, turns off momentarily, and then comes back to the Preloader screen. I tried the Backup Launchers 0.3 Beta and Gamma, which I didn't think would work, and they didn't. If anyone knows the name of a gamecube ISO launcher or a way to make this work, please tell me. Thank you.
By the way, I did search for over 30 minutes before I made this post.

*EDIT*
Oh crapper, Wiigator is releasing his Gamecube backup loader this week. o.O

Ummm...

Gamecube backups don't work yet. It is being worked on.

Its not just searching, but reading that is important as well, as I'm pretty sure this topic has been discussed at length

Yeah you can't run GC games on any loader right now. You need a chip or that gecko thing.

@realtimesave, nice, downloaded. Never played any Epic games but I would've thought I'd had an account. Apparently not lol
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
err, actually, misspoke, meant to say I claimed it, haven't downloaded anything yet
  • K3Nv3 @ K3Nv3:
Epic gives away so many good titles but gets such dumb hate
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy is your fallout 4 playthrough that good or bad
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
also sorry i had to do something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@bowlerhat, bad in the sense that I never finished it, but good in the sense that I had fun getting as far as I got before I tabled the game
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy the only thing that i dont like is that they simplified the perk system and nerfed the special system too much in my opinion

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
204 hours into the game, I got as far as meeting Valentine in Diamond City as far as the main story is concerned. I sidequested a ton and spent a lot of time on citybuilding. And this was all at launch, before there was even any DLC yet. So that's all a mystery to me
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@bowlerhat, agreed, and I also dislike how generic/basic the dialogue system is compared to FO3. But, it is what it is. I still enjoyed it despite all that

@Sicklyboy almost all my epic games were free. I just bought maybe one or two star wars games, cheap though
  • bowlerhat @ bowlerhat:
@Sicklyboy i didnt like fallout 4 that much compared to the previous games but it still has the replay value atleast

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@realtimesave, yeah that's what's confusing me, I was pretty sure I'd claimed free games on EGS before but I didn't have an email saved, "forgot password" didn't give me anything, and it let me register under my normal email and username. Wack
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Also couldn't find any email in my account from EGS in the past
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
    Fever dream shit :P
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
@Sicklyboy nice well at least u got the game :)

Are all the big game console companies saying they will brick consoles if users violate the eula?
  • False_Hope @ False_Hope:
I heard something about nintendo doing that
