Connect orginal Gameboy hardware to the internet through a web browser with GB-Link USB I am happy to share a hardware project I have been working on the past few years that allows your Game Boy to connect to the internet through your web browser on desktop or android with no software install required on the host device. Also supports sending multiboot homebrew from a web browser and dumping GB/GBC roms and restoring saves. Supports emulating GB Printer to print images from GB Camera as well as supported GB-Printer games. I developed the v2 hardware out of a need for better accessibility/availability as well as new QOL features. All aspects of the project are open source and as this is an rp2040 board you can also diy your own adapter with a pi-pico and a link cable. i got a acekard 2i a couple days ago. I haven't got a dsi yet (ill get that on saturday) so im playing it on my lite for now. I took off the R4 ultra firmware that i put on it that i used for my r4 and put on the ak2i firmware from the site. Then i tried loading final fantasy III it said loading in blue then the loading word turned red and the game would freeze. Can someone tell me what i did wrong, or maybe the ak2i only works on the dsi?
