I've put all the homebrew starter files on my SD and overwritten the OoT cartridge with the required bin file, but when I load up the save and hit A, it pops up saying launching homebrew then just kicks me back to the 3ds main menu without any error messages or anything. if someone could help me figure out what I'm doing wrong here as I'm fairly new at this it would be greatly appriciated

chances are you aren't using the correct save for your region, meaning you are using a save that contains the hax payload for another region. This is usually the cause of showing that screen and then just crashing. I could be wrong, but I would double check your save has the correct region payloads.

I had someone who's got some experience with this stuff to double check my payloads, boot file, ect and he said I had the right ones, he had no idea why it wasn't working. I've probably been trying to get this to work for 8 hours xD
