trouble connecting usb c on hwfly core

hey guys sort of new to the hwfly core and just wondering how to connect the usb c adapter it doesent seem to go in and last time i busted one of the black tabs off.



im talking about this for reference

I think you have to lift/fold that small black tab on the connector up, then insert cable, then fold black tab back down to lock in the ribbon cable. I could be wrong but thats how most those Zif cable connectors work. Don't take my word though.
