Trouble booting tethered ipod touch.

I successfully hacked my ipod touch 2nd Gen, 3.1.2 firmware with blackra1n.
Since then, I have occasionally turned it off and then booted it again with blackra1n.

But today, it was turned off and now it won't boot. I get stuck at a black screen and Geohot's picture never shows up.
I am on windows xp and using blackra1n rc3. I have tried everything that I could find. Please help.

I fixed it. For anyone else that has this problem, what I did was try different ipod cords and different usb ports on my computer. Also I put blackra1n in the c: directory of my computer. Hope this helps someone else.

Edit: It happened again and now it does not want to boot. Anyone?

Doesn't a tethered jailbreak mean that you effectively have to jailbreak every time you boot up your iPod?
