I am switching from SX to Atmos
I am on most current firmware and atmos

I have Fat32 SD card, so have had to convery my XCI files to split NSP files.

Goldleaf appreat to not work with current firmware as it wont open.
Using Tnfoil instead

I have split the NSPs,theyare in a folder called "gamename".nsp i have gone into properties>Advanced and ticked Folder is reafy for archiving

When i try to install with tinfoil it just does happen.
tinfoil installed the normal nsps and xcis just fine.

I cant get install over USB working either
But have managed to get install over wifi working using NS-USBloader and Awoo Installer. Its just VERY slow.

is there anything else i need to try? thanks

Did you install the drivers on your computer to install over USB? That's the recommended method of installing your own NSP files.

Are you using the latest version of NS-USBloader and Awoo-Installer?

Also Awoo-installer can't install split nsp files over usb only when there in the sd card, you can try to merge the files into 1 nsp file and install it over usb that is what i do.

Also what Lacius said to make sure you have the NS-USBloader drivers installed.

I forget sometimes that windows needs drivers for some programs to run.

Video guides are garbage, and you should never use them. They quickly become out of date, and they're often just wrong.
yes, i found the dowload and install drivers button in ns-usb now. will test and get back to you. installing on wifi atm.

Hopefully installing the drivers fixes your issue

all the splt games i tried have stopped during some part of the game with software error, better off installing with nut and tinfoil

That seems to have solved the issue, as itys now connecting.
Now i have a new issue, 1 of my split nsps installed without issue over USB, all the next i tried came up with failed std::bad_alloc
But one of those that failed is now installing ovber wifi just fine... >.<

You might want to restart your computer after installing the driver.

i am, i'm pushing them to awoo over wifi using ns-usb

i read goldleaf is a better installer, but it does apprear to work on current firmware. i will try goldleaf after its fixed for 11.0.1

Awoo Installer was created in part because Goldleaf doesn't work a lot and doesn't receive updates often.

hmmm, that doesnt sound good for me then, ha..
Ive even tried it on both my PC and laptop. same issue when trying to install over USB.

I also tried NUT and tinfoil, but tinfoil doesnt connect atm. there is apparently a chnage in the way the USB works with 11.0.1?

Try using TinWoo installer as it is an evolution of Awoo Installer.

With TinWoo and an NTFS usb-drive there should be no problem.
(I was even able to hook up my 3tb 2.5" hdd to the switch. Impressive)

Split nsp/xci files are trash mostly (never got em to correctly work)

EDIT:

Seems you were quicker xD
