I haven't come across any serious problems with trimmed games.

The only game on my card that's untrimmed it's Jump! Ultimate Stars, and that's because for some reason, TokyoTrimmer erases the game after I apply the english patch on it. But since it's only 64Mbs, it's no issue for my 8Gb SDHC.

same here. trimming it removes the English patch

Did anyone ever create a list of games that can be trimmed, and how much MB you save?

I don't believe it's been done. If you use a trimmer like Rominator, it tells you how much space it'll trim before you trim it. At any rate, it depends on the game. A good example of a decent trim size was Final Fantasy 3 DS. The original rom was 128MB, but it trimmed to I believe about 90MB. Big savings in space right?
Summon Night - Twin Age
128MB > 66MB
The best-trimming US ROM is:
3147 - Personal Trainer - Cooking
256MB --> 193MB (66MB savings)

But currently the title of "Best Trim" goes to the Japanese ROM:
2538 - San Goku Shi Taisen Ten
256MB --> 170MB (86MB savings)

On topic:
I use the trimmers built into Rominator and RToolDS, and they've never given me problems. I keep a copy of NDS Tokyo Trim on my flash cart for times when I need to trim a ROM on a PC that doesn't have Rominator or RToolDS installed. All three of them work great for me.

That because once you patch the rom it is trimmed of extra data at the end no need to trimmed it again, if you do weird things happens depending on the trimmer you use.

NDS rom highest is only 128mb....how u got to 256mb???
Nope, the largest NDS ROM size is 256MB. Go find the two ROMs I mentioned above, and check their size. There are currently 38 ROMs of this size, but most of them are Japanese.

*EDIT*
There are only 36 ROMs that are 256MB, not 38.

and while i'm sure you're joking, your logic is retarded and full of fail. it's classier to just admit you were wrong than to make some kind of lame joke

those games r something that I will never ever download so I treats them as if they r not created
A good enjoyable game doesn't need 256mb in size.......so highest maintain at 128mb....

+1

Also, I enjoy the following 256MB games:
- Tales of Hearts
- Layton Kyoujuu to Saigo no Jikan Ryokou
- Gensou Suikoden Tierkreis
- Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Jedi Alliance

Anyway, this is a moot point as this thread is about trimmed vs. untrimmed ROMs. I won't hijack this thread any further than I already have.
