you take it to the toilet. a translation wouldn't have helped much in recognizing a toilet to be honest. they're like small wooden houses. there's at the end of the alley which has jijimons house IIRC. the alley that leads to the plain where you started the game.

no, that's portapotties. those are for when you can't get a toilet. there's regular toilets spread across the game.

The only Digimon game I actually play and beat was the original Digimon World for the PSX so I want to know how similar these two are. Are these two games the same or with certain things that make it feel like the original?

I've played the psp translation and it has the same game play as digimon world for PSX. The graphics is amazing, new story, more digimon. You'll like it!

Then I'll keep an eye on this thread, they did say that most of the text would be translated for september I think, so probably for early 2017 or really late 2016, either way I can just wait till then.

If you want to play it, you can look up the psp patch and play the game on emu. I really enjoyed it and the 3ds version is gonna have more content. At least something to tide you over until sept

I can wait, although I've played PSP games on my cellphone If I can play a game on my console I'd rather wait for it.

I also played Digimon World on PSX and loved it. Then I found this game and played and played too. It's really pretty similar and seems to have a nice story either. Unfortunately I think I almost finished the game without having a clue what it is about

I've been playing Decode on 3DS in Japanese and I gotta say I'm looking forward to it. It's a huge improvement of Redigitize and I'd really love to play it in English.

On a slightly related note since your group is actively hacking the game I have a slightly strange question, do you know where can you find Apocalymon in Decode? When I was looking through a couple of Japanese wikis on the game for information one of them listed all the enemy only Digimon, and along with the various bosses I knew about I found that Apocalymon is apparently in game as an enemy somewhere. To date I have not been able to find anything else out about where or how you would actually find him, and it's been a continued puzzle. Do you know offhand if you ever found data for Apocalymon while you were picking the game's code apart?

Apocalymon was actually already present in Redigitize. He's a Colosseum fight. And yeah I found Data and actually made him playable as well
