Hacking Transferring CIA Save File to Another 3DS?

I have an EUR N3DS white non XL and a recently downgraded from 9.8 to 9.2 US red N3DS XL, and since I saved up and bought enough money just to play Monster Hunter Cross's English patch with CFW, I want to move my save file from the white non Xl to the red XL.
I have the game installed as a CIA in Reinand Emunand 9.5 on the white and 9.2 Emunand on the red.
How would I extract the save data of the white's CIA and put it in the red Xl so I could play my saved game on the non XL on THE XL?

either svdt or another savefile manager, I'd say? svdt should definitely be able to at least extract the raw (decrypted) savefile, though restoring it on the other might not work so well, though if you're replacing that save anyway I guess it's worth a try; you just might have better luck on the restoring side of things with another one, from what I've heard.
