Gaming Transfer AC:WW catalogue to AC:CF

Its probably been discussed a few months ago, but Australian version of AC:CF (i.e. AC: Let's go to the City) have a problem with the "Moving Van". Its supposed to allow you to transfer your AC:WW character and catalogue to AC:CF BUT Ninty stuffed up and made the Australian version a 1:1 copy of the US version and therefore, the Australian AC:WW is incompatible with an "Australian" AC:CF. Stupid, I know. So, is there any possible way of moving my catalogue without sending my disc back to Ninty.

BTW, both copies are retail.
