Hacking Touchscreen is not compatible with my right thumb

i was playing princess peach and to activate the upper right mood button i have to press really really hard. sometimes it doesnt respond at all. all other 3 buttons work fine.
i tried recalibrating the screen, didnt help.
im using hori screen protectors, removing them didnt help.
when i use the touchpen it works really fine, i just have to tip the button softly and it responds.
so is my right thumb not compatible with my ds lite or whats this for an issue?
i must say im sick of changing my lite again and again.

well thumbs dont cost too much anyways.. perhaps its firmware is incompatible with the DS firmware?

my thumb is running "super metal thumb v11final right hand edition".

i cant afford a new thumb atm as i recently bought that extra strong rock hard errection penis limited 20" edition. works fine.

the problem might just be the DS is reading too many points of contact from your thumb and cant calculate where it should react accordingly

and why not the same with your left thumb? maybe your hands are holding the DS asymmetrically and you press your right thumb with a bigger amount of it

i didnt try my left thumb, i just tried the touchpen to see if my screens reacts like it should, and with touchpen it does.
so maybe it really is my thumb (so topic).
seems to be better when i just use the tip of my thumb.

yeah it sounds like youre just pressing with too much surface of your thumb and the DS cant quite understand what youre doing, the stylus has a much more precise point and its easier for the DS to understand.. not like your whole thumb print

I have the same problem in the bottom right hand corner. At first I thought it was not working there and I was pissed. I tried another game though and it worked fine so Idk why it will not work.

maybe its princess peach and not my thumb or ds.
when im on the map between levels there is the "shop" button in exact the same place where the other icon does not respond and it works like a charm.
you say you were having problems too, was it with princess peach?

fat thumb? try your fingernail on your thumb, or try your pinky. Maybe the touch screen doesn't respond much when too much surface area is being pressed.

That should be normal. I have a regular DS and if I don't wanna use the stylus I have to press a bit harder if I use my thumb, or any other finger. Most likely because your skin is softer than the stylus, which is why you can lightly tap the touch screen with it in order to get it to respond.
