Hacking Totally Lost - Please Help

Hi,

I am totally lost here as it seems that there are sooo many suggestions - heres what I have and what I want to do.

I have a UK Wii which is running system 4.0E,

I want to softmod it so that I can play backups from disk as well as via usb stick.

is there a quide that will provide me with the files, an set up instuctions?

Please advise.

look in wii hacking forum.
Modify any wii 4.2 and below, aka simplistic mod.
follow that to a "T" and your good.

Check out the stickies on here as mentioned,or the link in my sig...and as a forwarning,if you've recently purchased your Wii, there's a good chance that it will have a D3-2 Drive inside, which is currently unable to play backup disc via softmod, so USB Loader is the drug of choice
