Hacking Total n00b Question - Acekard 2i Save.

I've looked around but I couldn't find what I needed to know.

I have an Acekard 2i, running the official firmware.

I wanted to know how I can save games at whatever point I want to.

Can I do that? The only thing I can do at the moment is wait until I get to a game checkpoint.

Sorry for the stupid question.

Any help would be really appreciated

The Acekard 2i doesn't support Real Time save.
BTW, Why are you running the bad official firmware? The Acekard shines only when it has AKAIO on it.

I don't know much about Acekards or AKAIO. I only got my Acekard a month ago.

Your cart's newish, and is still a popular cart. You could try your luck on the WantToTrade board on here, and then get a M3iZero or DSONEi which both support Real Time Save.

As for AKAIO, 99% of what makes the Acekard better than a bunch of other flashcarts is AKAIO. Download it from http://www.akaio.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t...3bc052497cee454 and ditch the official firmware

Yes, you just need to rename them.

You can use http://filetrip.net/f11163-Wood-R4-Save-Manager-1-1.html instead of doing it manually.
