Tools to create/modify dat-files for Offlinelist

Does anyone know of, and where to find tools to create or modify the offline list dat files? I recently started collecting roms but offline list doesnt accept them. Therefor i would like to be able to add or modify entries. Some list also contain demos which i want to remove from list.

Anyone an idea?

its just XML, you could edit it in notepad but do bear in mind each time the DAT maintainer updates the master you'll lose all your edits!
