To buy: 3DS or Kinect?

I really don't like Kinect, I'd get the 3DS but that's me.
Just give it a good thought. You'll eventually get bored of playing standing up.

I voted for kinect just for the heck of it but really kinect is unless you like to tingle with it on pc just an glorified eyetoy and eyetoy didn't fail because it was to inaccurate but it failed because the possibilities are limited and people got bored of it after a while you can bet the same will happen with kinect

The Kinect isn't really worth getting right now compared to the 3DS. The games for Kinect suck right now. So.... 3DS FTW. Although you need to have a 360 and a ton of other crap just to get Kinect working which will cost wayy more than $250. I'd rather preorder the 3DS

thats a game glitch, has nothing to do with how accurate the eyetoy was

Dance Central is really good - makes the likes of Just Dance and DDR redundant, but the rest of the games I've got are just about OK really - not the worst games ever but hardly worth the Kinect asking price. Child Of Eden (Rez 2) is out soon though, although while it apparently plays plays better using Kinect, you can use the controller anyway!

3DS on the other hand, well Ocarina of Time is reason enough ehh... nothing more needs be said!

3DS first without a doubt, then maybe save up for Kinect.... I'm a big Dance Central fan myself, but there's no way I'd choose it over a 3DS!

OK thanks guys! I know some of you went like "3DS vs Kinect LOL no contest!!!". The Kinect is really big right now (I live in the UK - the country where Just Dance was the #1 game in sales for a YEAR!) so I thought I'd compare them. I really wasn't considering the 3DS initially, but I gave it another thought and saw the potential. I love the DS and it's awesome. Hope that it won't get hacked for at least after 3 years so quality games will come out. I've made up my mind and I'll get the 3DS!
