Hardware Tips for buying an Ultrabook in Miami

Hey guys I need some tips , I'm traveling to Miami in a few days and I want to buy some electronics goods .
First I need some tips on an Ultrabook I want one with ssd with 512 gb .
And then what's the best place for buying physical in store electronics .

i want it to be ultabook for the weigh , i contantly lift it up from the couch to my laps . i will use to doenload movies , games , and surf the web with many tabs open at the same time , transfer files to hdd external or microsd cards .
I currently have an hp with it frezzes when im doing more than 2 o 3 thinghs together .
My budget it will be top $1000 US.
And for screen size starrting 14 inches will be good also thinking about weight .
I have seen the Asus Zenboob 17 , ssd512 . but have seen mix reviews and i dont know if there is a better ultabook .
