ROM Hack TINKE hack tool NEW FILE TYPES FOUND! help?

ive been trying to use Tinke, the DS emulator ROM hack, to get some sprites out of Commando steel disaster ROM . and i keep running into these types of files that i don't know how to open them in the hacker..
.pa
.sp
.efm
.rd
.gmp
.stg
.evg
and even .bo!
how and what do i open these with? im only trying to rip the games graphics..
(although i think it,ll be much easier to just screen shot, but how else am i going to learn how to use Tinke?)

Well, for starters, give people some time to think. After looking around, it seems it only recognizes the SDAT in the game. Seems someone will have to figure out the formats and make a plugin for Tinke to understand them.

oh? then i knew these were new file types.. now it seems the game is trolling me at every turn, first i keep getting stuck on the 1st level,(lack of save points!?) and now i cant seem to rip the graphics...

no, it wont work on my pc, 1, i dont like ilivid downloader.. 2, theres a file missing that it needs to run with.. but thanks anyway though..

iLivid isn't used to download anything, anything you see that's "iLivid" is an ad. If you're on a download page for iLivid, it's because you clicked an advertisement.

You could post this in the Tinke topic, and you will get reply from the creator of Tinke himself.

as Rydian said, you clicked the wrong thing. Ilivid is one of the crappy ads filetrip has which tries to trick you into download crap you don't want. You need to click the "download selected version" button, over at the right of the page.

In a quick look:
* .pa -> Palette
* .efm -> tiles (0x00-0x01: unknown, 0x02-0x3: width, 0x04-0x05: height, 0x06...:data)
* .u2a -> text
* .sp -> sprites (include the oam info at the beginning)
* .gmp -> palette+tiles (maybe map?)
* .stg -> it seems to be the map of the .gmp file
* .rd and .evg -> probably data about the map
* .bo -> no idea, maybe something for 3d?

To open palette, tiles and text uses the Open as menu.

THANK YOU! that was all i needed to find out! as for downloading another program to do this, sorry guys, but screw that, i hate ilivid with a flaming passion, but thanks for your input. i really appreciate it.
