Hardware Timed out while updating to 3.4U maybe?

I tried updating, and the bar is full, and that little box design thing next to the update loading bar is still moving around, but nothing else is happening. The bar filled up rather quickly, but after that, it's just stuck on the update screen. I don't know what's wrong, or if I should turn off my wii, or just leave it or what. I don't want to ruin it by turning it off in the middle of an update or anything.

I have a wiikey installed on my wii, by the way.
