This is my new program called TiiX. Yeah, I know the name sounds a bit weird, but I thought it was nice. The program is made to help developers and rom hackers convert between text, ASCII and hex. This version is made in Game Maker (which is pretty bad because it takes time to start it up), but I'm planning to make the program in C# too. The reason I choosed GM this time was because I already had a program from earlier that I could use as a template. Well, enough about that. Here is a screenshot:

Features:
  • Text to ASCII/Hex convertion
  • ASCII to Text/Hex convertion
  • Hex to Text/ASCII convertion
  • Save and Open files
  • Save file as .html- or .txt-file
  • Drag&Drop Opening
  • Byte-by-byte reading (Read file)
  • String-by-string reading (Read file)
  • Automatic convertion
That's all for now, I think. Here are the planned features:

Planned Features:
  • Open multiple files
  • Better file reading (opening)
And hopefully EVEN more.

Download links:

7z-archive

Here is a mirror in case my page doesn't work:
Mediafire Folder

(Note: I'll not update the files at mediafire as frequently as I update the files on my home page!)

Questions/Bug reporting:

You can either post your questions and/or bug reports here in this thread, or send them as an email to: support[at]jags.hoogetech.com (replace [at] with @)

I hope you like the program and find it useful! I'll try to answer your questions as fast as possible. A Readme is included in the archives. Read it before you ask. You'll find almost everything there is to know about the programs functions there.

Well, as I said, I hope you like it! Please give feedback and feature requests! (If this topic is in the wrong section, please just move it)

Sorry for double-posting (even though some days have passed since last post), but I just want to inform you that I've released a Online version of TiiX! It has multi-platform support because it's online!

Here is the link: TiiX Online

I hope you all like it! One note though: This isn't as powerful as the downloadable version, yet, and it requires that you have javascript turned ON. I'll maybe code it in PHP too, for you who don't like to have Javascript turned on.

Tell me what you think! Give feedback via comments!
